Batching plant is called a collection separation plant where the collection of packaging wastes and other non-hazardous wastes are collected and classified according to their types, except the accumulations made within the factory, point of sale, and similar units. Non-hazardous waste collection certificate is given to enterprises that are authorized to collect non-hazardous waste, and a packaging waste collection certificate is given to Provincial Directorates of Environment and Urban Planning for enterprises that are authorized to collect packaging wastes and are responsible for batching plants.

Criteria That Should Be Provided In Batching Plants

The Waste Management Regulation and the obligations imposed on batching plants must be observed.
